Syberia - The World Before is a return to form for the series, and an all-around solid adventure game featuring an engaging story that nicely blends together two different timelines, charming characters and good puzzle design. Syberia: The World Before gave me back that sense of wonder that I felt, twenty years ago, with the first two episodes and, for this reason alone, for me it is a "yes" as big as an apartment building. The Games Machine - Paolo Besser - Italian - 9 / 10 Well attached to its inspirations and classic patterns in terms of narration and game design, Syberia The World Before is a very good point and click adventure, and a great tribute to Benoit Sokal.

Visually wondrous and full of logical, fair puzzles and likable characters, this is a worthy entry in the series, despite a jarring conclusion and some rather poor performance. It is still a very good production, which should satisfy primarily fans. It does not do anything innovative, it shallows the adventure pedigree, but it is played wonderfully. It's just that the bar has been set so high that it's hard to jump over. Siberia: The World Before is rather the weakest installment of the cycle, but this absolutely does not mean that it is a bad game.

Siberia: The World Before was released after the death of Benoît Sokal. Sokal's latest work continues the story that began with the legendary first chapter and will drag us on a personal and introspective journey, dotted with suggestive sequences and intriguing puzzles.
